King Oak Farm Fall Horse Trials

May 10 & 11, 2008

• All horses entered at the Novice Level, and above, must have a USEA registration number. Please be sure to provide this to the Secretary.

• PLEASE VERIFY ALL TIMES WITH THOSE ON YOUR PACKET WHEN YOU ARRIVE. Times posted here are tentative.

RIDER TIMES

• The order of competition is DressageàStadiumàCross Country. Competitors who have been eliminated in Stadium will not be allowed to begin the Cross Country phase. No exceptions will be made.

• Your Stadium time is assigned. Competitors must be at the in-gate at the appointed time under penalty of elimination. If you are riding multiple horses and have a time conflict, the X-C time takes priority. You may elect to ride stadium earlier or later within your division, but you must let the Stadium Steward know before the start of the division. Riders must adhere to their Dressage and Cross Country times

• CROSS COUNTRY TIMES – Please note, All Cross Country Times are tentative. If scratches and time gaps occur, start times will be moved forward.

• If you are STABLING ON GROUNDS

·         The stall cleaning deposit check will be cashed if the stall has not been stripped

·         For those staying SATURDAY NIGHT, please plan your arrival for after 4:30 PM. Competition on Saturday does not end until 6:00 PM

·         When entering the stabling area you must come into the yard from the upper drive. Traffic flow is one-way.

·         No vehicles may be left on the access roads and there is No Parking on the Upper Grounds.

·         Please load/unload as quickly as possible out of consideration for others that will be waiting to enter or leave. 

•  If you are STABLING OFF GROUNDS (Three County Fair Grounds – Northampton MA) .  King Oak will be in Barn L. 3rd Gate off Ferry St. 1st Barn on the Left

·         Directions

 From 91N: Exit 19 – Rt. 9 Northampton; left at bottom of the ramp; left on Old Ferry Rd (immediately after the ball park);

From 91S: Exit 20 – Rt 5 (King St) Northampton; left at first set of light (Damon Rd); right at next set of light onto Rt 9 Northampton; left on Old Ferry Rd (immediately after the ball park);

Barn L is through the 3rd gate, First Barn On The Left. Stall will be marked with Stall Cards for assignments.

• To reach King Oak Farm from the Fair Grounds: Turn left onto Rt 9 Northampton and follow to the intersection with Rt 10; left on Rt 10 Easthampton/Southampton; follow Rt 10 through Easthampton to Southampton. King Oak will be on your left.

• Show Office Hours: FRIDAY 4:00 – 6:00 PM; SATURDAY 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM; SUNDAY 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
