ABOUT KING OAK FARM

King Oak Farm is a family owned and operated full service facility established in 1982. The Farm is situated on over 180 acres of beautiful open farmland and woods in Southampton, Massachusetts. King Oak offers a boarding and training facility with an emphasis on Dressage and Combined Training, Basic Equitation, and Horse Care. Our facilities at King Oak Farm include several outdoor dressage arenas, a jumping field, cross country courses, for the Beginner Novice through Preliminary rider, and a spacious indoor arena for flat work and/or jumping. We also have numerous well groomed trails for those who enjoy a leisurely trail ride through the peaceful countryside.

We offer riding instruction for children and adults of all levels and abilities, as well as boarding, schooling and sales. We invite you to call Fran Cross, at (413) 527-4454, to learn more about King Oak or to arrange a visit. Or, if you'd like, e-mail us at inquiries@kingoakfarm.com.

Fran Cross has ridden since childhood, evented through the preliminary level from the early 70's to the mid 80's, and has trained and shown dressage horses to the FEI levels, as well as a number of young horses at the lower levels. Since then she has concentrated on schooling young horses and introducing them to cross-country and dressage at King Oak Farm.

Since 1982, King Oak Farm has been the site for two USEA recognized horse trials for which Fran serves as organizer. The farm is also the site of a recognized dressage show, which Fran manages. She has imported numerous KWPN horses for sale. Fran is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and hold a BHS Al certification. She has been on the Board of Governors for the USEA representing Area I. Fran currently holds licensure as a USEF Technical Delegate (D/CT), as a Canadian TD, and is completing the requirements for licensure as a CT judge.
